TIME MAPTo literally save my sanity I started making this Time Map in 2020, during the height of the pandemic. In order to escape my mother in law with dementia who lived with us, my depressed wife, my business crumbling under Covid, endless struggle to pay the bills... and trying to keep my daughter to laugh daily. There was a way out. By making this Time Map I could escape daily reality for a bit. And it worked. Filling in parts on the map with small stories and events, it grew to be a massive visual tale of sometimes going under and emerging again. Luctor et Emergo. Two years later I could finish the illustration because I could buy a new laptop that could actually finish the massive 96" x 48" Illustrator file. Life is different now. Time travel is real. It runs on Passion and Patience. Love and Imagination. Perseverance and Creativity.
